I thought Ebihara might have half suggested that strategy to make Ryou think of a different strategy that he believes in more and was able to thanks to Sakaki's suggestion.

I thought it was amusing how the opponents had to tell Ryou to focus, yeah Hiroto and Shizuo are his friends but it was still amusing to me.

Really no idea why he did that,mightve caused them to throw the match by feeling overly guilty...n he doesnt seem like the kind of mean coach.would telling ryo to play as he normally would,orr not say anything at all,have made ryo play any differently?
ryo's friends are pretty good to keep up with their team despite the injury,maybe it'd have made little difference even if he hadnt gotten into the same high school as yusa.

Imagining hana chan the beautiful moon upon this anime , and the sunshine girl who I forgot her name that cried to mizushimas win. Pillars of support and maximum beauty beam to hana.

That was a pretty rough game at first. Mizushima understandably just couldn’t focus, especially with that strategy (though it was sound) and with his friend being hurt like that. I kind of figured that would happen when he saw his buddy’s knee like that in the last ep. But I’m glad he managed to focus up eventually and win that match. All those fellas played very well. It might not have been the match they wanted, but they played their hearts out and gave it their all.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

If you have a knee injury which is that bad, and still get on court, you know what will happen...and whatever does happen is on you.
